THE QUEEN OF FUR—HELEN YARMAK UNVEILS HER FALL/WINTER 2010 FUR & JEWELRY COLLECTIONS IN AN EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW
Helen Yarmak, known to fashion insiders as the Queen of Fur—adorning the likes of BeyoncĂ©, Rihanna, Chloe Sevigny and Steven Spielberg—unveiled her glamorous Fall/Winter 2010 Fur & Jewelry Collections in an exclusive fashion show at her NYC showroom. Mingling amongst the fashion-forward crowd included Celebrity Fashion Stylist Patricia Field and Olympic Gold Medal Figure Skater Oksana Baiul.
The evening included an art presentation by Barry Meisel, BMV Fine Art, LLC with works by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, Motherwell and Marylin Minter, a live jazz ensemble including vocalist Deanna Kirk, guitarist Chris Flory, saxophonist Harry Allen, bassist Clovis Nicolas and classical musical performance by Ezter Szilveszter (viola) and Artur Kaganovskiy (violin), as and a silent auction. A portion of the evening’s sales from Helen Yarmak furs and jewelry, as well as a Silent Auction, went to benefit the NYU International Prostate Cancer Research Foundation. Guests enjoyed gourmet bites by Opia Restaurant and cocktails by Akvinta Vodka.
