The 2008 Nature Conservancy Beaches and Bays Gala

WHO: THE NATURE CONSERVANCY CORDIALLY INVITES YOU TO THE

WHAT: BEACHES AND BAYS GALA

The Nature Conservancy’s Eighth Annual Beaches and Bays Gala will be a star-studded affair. The annual event has attracted numerous celebrities and VIPs to the innovative and fun annual fundraising gala. This year the Beaches and Bays Gala will begin with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres served on the patio of the Karmely Estate – the historic former home of Robert Lion Gardiner. Guests can enjoy the spacious and lovely grounds before entering the main tent where a sumptuous dinner, catered by Glorious Food, is served. The festivities continue through the night with entertainment and lively dance music from the Paul Richard’s Band of Hank Lane Productions. An after-party for the junior attendees will take place in the courtyard lounge following the main event. The Nature Conservancy is excited to introduce this new aspect of the event, realizing the importance of developing the young leadership supporting the organization’s mission. Since 1951, the Nature Conservancy has protected more than 117 million acres of land and 5,000 miles of river worldwide through pursuing non-confrontational and pragmatic solutions to conservation challenges. The global scope of the organization is one of their unique facets, as their strength is reliant on being one organization with one common goal. However, at a local level, the organization works hand-in-hand with the community to lead Conservancy initiatives across multitudes of regions and landscapes
