The Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services honored Russell Simmons, David F. Everett and John A Herrmann at the Annual Spring Benefit, Made in New York—A-listers seen showing their support throughout the evening included, model Katie Rost (arriving with honoree date, Simmons), Ralph Lauren model Chris Collins, Rabbi Marc Schneier, and socialites Jean Shafiroff, Ann Rapp and Sharon Bush. Emceed by WNBC Anchor DeMarco Morgan, the special event was held at New York City’s Guastavino’s and featured a cocktail reception and seated dinner with proceeds benefitting JBFCS’ 175 community-based programs, residential facilities, and day-treatment centers that annually serve over 65,000 New Yorkers-in-need of all faiths, races and cultures.

Addressing the evening’s guests, Executive Vice President & CEO, Paul Levine expressed,
“Tonight’s event was a success on so many levels. We raised over $800,000 to support our work, we introduced the agency to a whole new audience of supporters— and we celebrated the outcomes of our work by featuring a number of former and current clients who have overcome their not-insignificant struggles with our help. Many of them have gone on to great things. That is what this agency is all about: helping people put their lives back together and succeeding despite the odds. I am extremely proud of what we do.”

Guests ended the evening with exclusive goody bags, featuring must-haves from Advanced Derma Laser Tech Inc., Aestelance, Alcone, Alley O’ Designer Gourmet, Amoy Couture Hair, Amrita Singh Jewelry & Accessories, BookSwim, CAPE COD Potato Chips, CBS, Clarins, Dashing Diva, Amiya Prasad, M.D., e.l.f., Essie, Equinox, Hillside Organic Candy, KISS, Madame Paulette, Panoramic View Resort & Residences, Popchips, Pure Yoga, Rene Furterer, Serenity Zen Beverage™, Solstice Sunglass Boutique, Soul Cycle, Tate’s Bake Shop, Tela, The Sports Club/LA, Time Out New York, Vitafusion, and Vita Coco.
